Heaven and Hell

Heaven is nearness to God and hell is distance from him. The Devil exists only in man's imagination and evil is only a lack of good.

Heaven: "The positive impact a selfless life has on the lives that come after ones life."

Hell: "The negative impact a selfish life has on the lives that come after ones life."

Our actions reside in the hearts of those that come after our life for we are responsible for who/what we are.

I don't believe that I am wrong. Here is why. I have investigated on my own (not under the influence of clergy or others who claim to know the workings of God) and have arrived at the conclusion that this is not a God that operates this way. He has no history of operating this way and nowhere in the holy books does he make statements that support the claim by some that there is an actual place like Hell. To the contrary it is abundantly clear that in the next life you are the one who has created your own Hell by straying from the spiritual path or on the other hand have learned to love and know God by your own and not through the eyes of others and thus find peace. Your own peace.
